Glass the breakable art!

Sometimes things go wrong in the studio, mistakes are made and that can lead to STARTING OVER.  Here is a picture of the Eagle Valley High School panel, “the first one”.  I had the panel well on it’s way, cutting away the resist paper so that I could sandblast it.  In my rush to get the project done I put a heat lamp within a few feet of the glass to warm it up and make the resist easier to cut.  MISTAKE!!  Without warning there was a report that sounded like a shot from a rifle and the glass then began to shatter and collapse from the weight.  This picture is as it lays, ready to be carted off to the trash can.

New glass was ordered the next day and the process was all started again.
